Scorched Wood!

Here are some pictures of some new pieces that I've completed. I am drawing with a wood-burning tool on to plywood. I have a whole variety of wood that I'm looking forward to burning. I will post pictures as I finish them, so keep checking back.

Las Vegas Drunk

Here are the pages that I have submitted for a project called "Drunk-A Collection of Bar Stories".

This skull has been covered with with phosphorescent paint. The images above are in the daylight, and the one below is in the dark.

The heart on this piece swings like a pendulum.

My Work

I work with imagery from early 20^th century studio animation. Taken out of their original context and tweaked, seemingly innocent characters become a bit unnerving. The character relationships and stories in my work are drawn from situations based on experiences in my personal life as well as different media (television, internet and video games) in a way that makes light of truly serious experiences.
